B/W/SKY derives from the combination of two images: a frame from Luchino Visconti’s ‘Ossessione’ , and a picture shoot at the point where the scene had been shoot. The view of the port of Ancona, searching for that memory.
The image created is the evident defeat of the reality recording, the impossibilità of reproducing an old vision.
People that passed by, left and sometimes came back to my land, landscape of differrent generation, the same placet in distant times, an agreement among scenic space, memories and reality, notes in black and white and sky….

B/W/SKY è l’accostamento di due immagini: un frame estratto dal film “Ossessione” di Luchino Visconti, ed uno scatto prodotto dopo aver raggiunto il punto da cui fu girata la scena. Lo scorcio del porto di Ancona, alla ricerca di quel ricordo.
L’immagine creata è la palese sconfitta della registrazione della realtà, l’impossibilità di riprodurre una vecchia visione.
Gente che è passata, partita e a volte è tornata nella mia terra, landscape di diverse generazione, stesso posto in tempi distanti, un accordo tra spazio scenico, memorie e realtà, annotazione in bianco e nero e cielo….
